Art Walk 2011
Art may be purchased from most artists, beginner hands on projects, entertainment and food.

Here are a few of the Artists that will be participating in this year's great event:

James Garcia -  from Washington Pa, Paints mostly abstract local nostalgic paintings

Twila Christner - New Philadelphia Ohio, Twila teaches at the Center for The Arts in New Philadelphia as well as offering 
private lessons. She does  oil paintings of local scenes such as Amish countryside. Twila will be offering special 10-15 minute painting projects at the Art Walk. If you or your child has an interest in learning to paint this opportunity is for you. Twila will guide you through the entire process so that a small picture will be finished and ready to take home. No talent necessary, Twila will make it super simple and loves teaching others. Experience the thrill of painting a picture that will have friends and family talking! Supplies provided only $5 per person.

Marlene Mullet - Millersburg Ohio. Marlene creates  graphite pencil sketches dong mostly  wildlife

Nancy Simms - Columbus Ohio. Nancy  will have copper enameling and gourd art in her display but will be demonstrating in water colors

Alma Hershberger - Millersburg Ohio. A polio victim and self taught artist Alma enjoys painting scenery on slate, glass jugs
and saws. She will also have wooden names carved and painted.

Elmer Yoder - Millersburg Ohio a resident artist here at Schrock's Farm Village. Elmer's work can be enjoyed at Berlin Leather year round. He specializes in both acrylic and oils and works on canvas, wood or slate. He also does pencil sketching and does custom framing.

Robert VanNatta - Walnut Creek Ohio a local artist who enjoys painting water color landscapes, still  life and florals.

Jane Hochstetler - Berlin Ohio realistic florals, local barns and animals are among the things Jane enjoys painting, her
work is in watercolors.

Sarah Stroehman - Columbus Ohio. Stroehman has always had a creative flair and was fortunate enough to perfect her technical painting skills in college with the aid of some very talented artists and professors. She enjoys painting cartoons, photo realism and found objects. Sarah describes her art as "clever".

Ed Kossick - Mansfield Ohio. Describing his work as a bit peculiar he is a reformed cartoonist in love with the 1950's. In trying to combine the two  his work typically results  in businessmen wearing skinny ties with cigars etc. A common theme in his work is the use of bright/bold colors and the simple explanation is that he is color blind and the neon shows up much better than anything else.  

Malissa Goff Morgantown WV. After several years of being self taught and exploring new mediums and the challenge of achieving any objective, Malissa enrolled in the art program to get her BFA in painting. She is currently the mother of 3 daughters and is in her 5th year working in the framing fine arts department at Michaels, teaching painting classes for Grumbacher/Chartpak there, in her 5th year slowly earning her degree as a double major in sculpture and painting at WVU. She is a founding member of WVU['s Honorary Fine Arts Fraternity Kappa Pi.  She is still taking commissions and doing portraiture as well as arranging and producing work for exhibitions. Although Malissa will not be in attendance at the Art Walk her work will be displayed as part of another booth.

Joyce Keffer - New Philadelphia enjoys painting on ceramics and specials in Native American art.

Patsy McGrath- Beach City Ohio will offer hand painted jewelry and note cards.
